Digital Smile Design (DSD) is a structured protocol that combines photographic facial analysis, intraoral scanning and 3D computer modelling to design an ideal smile and show it to you before any dental work begins. What Happens During the Consultation

Allow 75 minutes for a complete DSD appointment. We start with a photographic protocol (12 high-resolution clinical shots), a video of your speech and smile, and a full intraoral scan. The data is imported into 3Shape Smile Design software, where we model different tooth shapes, lengths and gingival contours based on your facial proportions and your input. You leave with a printed mock-up and, optionally, a composite resin preview directly on your teeth that lets you test the new look for 24 hours.
